iron sights @ 100m

Well, finally managed to get to the range with my M14. See attached picture; 5 rounds @ 100 metres, just on the inch, iron sights, from the bipod, dreigh drizzly Scottish day, using standard 144gn RG surplus ammo. Before y'all say it, I could do better, if I could just tighten up those fliers! Must try harder.

Dang, I think, wait, I know those groups are better than I can do with iron sights. Those are really good.

This is the best I have ever been able to get so far. They were shot prone position 100yds with Lithuanian 7.62

Wow, congrats as I am into my trifocal era . . .

and cannot imagine such a group with iron sights.
