Front sight replacement?

I've been wanting to mod my 1911 Auto-Ordnance for sometime now. Diffrent sights are a must, how the heck do you get that front sight out?

I use vice grips and a small punch. The new sight tenon should be a .055 width and if I were you, I would have someone who knows what they are doingf stake the new one in for you. You will also have to change the rear sight.
