Springfield Armory 1911 mags

Within a week I'll be a proud owner of a SA 1911 (9mm).
This pistol is of an older type but has the 2 original mags with it.
Because I want to shoot dynamic, I want to buy 2 more mags for this pistol.
A gundealer (here in Europe) told me yesterday that SA uses a different kind of mag release than other 1911 clones uses.
Is this true??
Are there brands I can use instead of only original SA?
Where can I order them on the net because I live in Europe and making a call is not prefered due to the time difference!

with my s.a. 1911 g.i. i can use a whole buncha different mags. a lot of companies make em.

It's a shame but they don't sell internationally!

If you can't get them, I will work with you to buy them and ship them to you if you would like. Small Packet International Mail wont be too awful bad .
I am goimg to a Gun show next Sunday March 4th and I will see if any are available and grab a couple for you if I find em....

Thanks for the offer but I got a webaddress from a store that have them and can send them to Europe.
If this will not work out I like to contact you to get them through you when your offer still stands at that time
