| Series 70. Fewer parts, somewhat better trigger capability. That said makes me a hypocrit as my Kimber is a series II with the Swartz. (which does not efeect trigger pull as far as I can tell) The layman will typically not notice a series 80 either.

| Series 70, definitely! I bought the Series 80 M1991A1, then converted it back to Series 70 like JMB would've wanted. Silly Lawyer-inspired nonsense . . .

| Yup, the extra safety factor is in the fact that the firing pin cannot move forward under inertia (gun dropped on nose) The sensible fix for this probelm, that does not happen frequently in the real world, is a slightly stiffer firing pin spring coupled with a lighter weight titanium firing pin.

| Series 70. Because that's what I've had for eons. Trigger job, Millet high visibility, white outline, fixed sights and Pachmayr grips. No other modifications required. The best safety is between the ears of the shooter. |

| I have been looking for a stainless barrel and bushing for my stainless combat commander series 70,,I need one that has been throated. cant even find one on the internet,,gunsmiths here are not what i would call dependable..any one have any idias ?? hyoung3595@aol.com |
