| Senior Member | I have a SA 1911 that I recently purchaced used. The feed ramp on the barrel had been a victim of a practicing unpromising harmeror. The Polishing on the frame is not factory, but is not a problem. and is quite servicible. At the moment I have replaced the ss factory barrel with a GI chrome lined one. using the same bushing, it will shoot a fairly accurate group with Ball. I am considering having my gun sent off to make it accept, ramped barrells but I like the availability of standard parts. I am interested in any input. Thanks
