Karl Sokol of Chestnut Mt. Sports has informed me that he is offering a package for the 1911, specifically targeting the 1927 Systema Colt. This is the same package I had done to my 1911, and I can highly reccomend his work!

The package includes the following:

- High Profile Sights

- Trigger Job

- Barrel Throating and Ramp Polish

- Bevel- Magwell

- Lowering the Ejection Port

- Minor Parts Replacement (springs, pins,ect. Major Parts extra)

- Parkerize pistol

The package is being offered for $350.00 + shipping

$350 is about what you pay for a "new" one....

I am going to suggest a frontstrap stippling, match bushing, and a barrel recrowning if you take Karl up on this package.
