springfield emp 9mm

has anyone shot a emp, they took the 9mm and rebuilt the 1911 around it. instead of taking a 1911 .45acp and building up the internal parts to take up the space that the .45acp noramly accupies
the one that was reviewed in Concealed Carry Handguns#70 2010 was very customized so i dont think its a true review of the gun. if anyoner can give me a review of a stock emp? thanks that would be great

I would just like to see one in person, along with a Warthog and next to the little Kimber.

I have an EMP 9mm. Have owned it for about 14 or 15 months now and have fired about (I don't really keep and accurate count) 2500 rounds thru it. It has been stone reliable. It has not had ANY failures of any kind. Since I am not a big fan of night sights, I had a Novak Gold Dot installed on the front and I installed a 10-8 U Notch style on the rear. I carry this in a Brommaland IWB holster and it just seems to disappear and is very comfortable.
I had a Para-ord Carry 9 prior to this and did not like the LDA trigger. I also had a Springfield LW Compact (.45 ACP) which was not very reliable at all.
I would highly recommend the Springfield EMP 9mm. Mine is a keeper.
