Feg Pa63 I bought one of these from JG Sales for $129. Not a bad shooter, but it definitely needs some work before you can consider it a reliable weapon. First off the safety lever was so stiff it took 2 thumbs from a strong man to move it. My wife couldn't even move it. A little gunsmithing and it functioned smoother than the safety on my Walther PPK. Second, we measured the DA trigger pull at 26 lbs and the serrations on the trigger were so sharp you got deep blisters after only a half dozen DA trigger pulls. I ordered a new spring set from Wolff and did a full trigger job and now it is one of the sweetest shooting pocket pistols I've ever owned. This sucker is accurate too. We spent an afternoon breaking clay pidgeons at 75 and 100 yards. It took 2-3 shots to figure out the proper sight picture, but once that was down, every shot was dead on.

It's a pretty slick little gun not that we have it so it doesn't tear your hands apart. Still reliable and accurate even with the 11lb spring. Might even try a 9lb spring to see if it will still shoot. The only one complaint is the severity of the kick. The gun transmits every ounce of force right into your wrist. I wouldn't want to shoot all day with it, but it's fun to take out for 50 rounds of play.

To help reduce the kick, get a Wolff 13# or 15# recoil spring (the original is about 11#).

The guy at Wolff told me they only made the hammer springs in 9, 11 and 13lb. I bought his 3 spring assortment pack and settled on the 11lb spring. I specifically asked him about the other springs and he said they don't make them.

I'm not arguing with you or disagreeing with what you are saying, all I said is when I called the guy said the only springs they make are the hammer springs. I'll give him another call on Monday.

| mdw442, Teak is right Sometimes ya can get someone on the phone that doesnt "know' what is going on,.... It is not something NEW in the "ordering gunparts experience". Wolff is a very good outfit, if ya need something special they can even make one for ya for a price. Pa 63's are common guns and many (most) will benafit from new spring sets. The set of three recoil springs sounds like the best deal for you to be able find what ya need to be the most comfortable shooting your Pa63. Remember as with Women,Motorcycle engines, and Guns Lubrication!, thats the Key! Ya need to control the forces being exerted upon the human body by machines......... with proper lubrication,...and proper spring rates you should be able to operate your gun more easily.
