| makarov safety i plan on getting a makarov however it must have a safety ,a manuel one . does it have a safety and what are your reccomendations once i get one |

| The safety on these is slide mounted and and serves as a decocker as well (it does lock the trigger as well). Like most European pistols the safety operates backwards from most American guns. What kind of recomendations are you looking for? BTW, the Maks are getting extremely hard to find, you might want to look at the Polish PA-64's as they are readily available and much cheaper.

| GoodAim, you're right about the '63's. I've been building grips for them for over a year now and finally traded for one myself. Once I get some nice wood on it and a decent holster, it's going to be my carry gun.

| Yup, I hope that maybe tomorrow I will get the hammer spring in though. It's got a heck of a trigger pull on it. As far as fit and finish it's really nice and seems very sturdy. |
