Is there still a company called Makarov that makes firearms??

I know this looks like Im hogging the limelight but does my beloved Makarov still stamp out pistols?

makarov is the name of the pistols designer "nikolai federovich makarov" check out makarov.com for lots of info about makarov pistols and there clones.

Don't know of a company under that name... They were made by E. Germany, Bulgaria, China, and Russia.
