got my PA-63 last week, took it out to the range this past weeknd. Shot great, very accurate with the MPS(sp?) +P, couple of problems with the silver bear ammo tho..
anyways, after reading tons of reviews about the trigger pull and recoil and how to improve it, I got the two spring sets on makarov.com The hammer spring and recoil spring were no problem to replace, but im having some serious trobule replacing the firing pin spring. The manuals that JG shipped with the pistol are useless (disassembly, reassembly, ect...), and I have looked at some of the older threads on this forum and tried to give it a go, but im afraid of breaking the whole firing pin assembly or something stupid. I removed the slide from the gun, then put the saftey in the 45 position and tried to remove it but it feels like its not gonna budge at all, and I dont know where to go from there. Do I even NEED to replace the firing pin spring or does it matter (I replaced the stock recoil spring, 11# i think, with a 15#)??? ![]() |
