just curious of the product quality, I think it is excellent, but curious if anyone had some big and bad horror stories, I doubt it, probably wouldn't believe them anyways :-)

That is interesting, wish I could learn a skill like that

quality is generally pretty good. just stay away from the polymer framed baby eagles. that and i personally think the desert eagle is a piece of junk- some people love them though . the rifles, revolvers and the steel baby eagles are good quality.

I got a metal baby eagle, and it's my baby :-)

There is this little mark on it, almost like an oil mark, but it wont come off with nitro/bore cleaner, frame scratching? it doesn't look like scratching, just looks like a little bright spot in light that wont rub off, hmm :-P, it's tiny, shoots wonderful though. Any suggestions on the mark?

What's the best $500 ranged handgun around???

I'd like a glock, don't like the fact that the safety is on the trigger and there is no hammer on them, etc..
Anyways, be good, thanks for the comments lefty o :-)

If you like plastic pistols try a Walther P99, I'm not sure if there is a saftey on it but there is a nice de-cocker buttion flush with the top surface of the gun. Dependable too.

Went to range tonight, Rented a glock 21 .45, and another glock, not 100% sure of model, was a .45 compact, the only reason I rented them was 1) I was curious of the glock "reputation" and 2) my brother wants a glock real bad, so decided to rent two .45's, actually we rented 1, but it was so compact and didn't feel right, returned it to rent the glock 21, .45, I don't mean to offend glock lovers, but ew..

Accuracy was nothing as good as the baby eagle, the feel of both the compact and full size 21 was just not right, I guess it's the polymer and metal, something didn't feel right. Shot low, even when compensating, so when I go back to my previous posts, I guess im glad I didn't get a glock, and I know there are better pistols then a baby eagle, and I'm sure some would disagree with me on the glock situation, but I just wanted to throw my 2 cents in, for the newly 21 year olded person wanting a glock, I'd go with something else, SIG > IMI BABY EAGLE > WALTHER (Heard decent things about them) > SMITH AND WESSON (Classic) > HK >

But eww on the Glock for now, maybe it's just the .45, heard that the .40's and other models are great, but the .45 glock didn't do any justice for me tonight...

See yall around :-)

Another story, if you care :-)

When I was done, I realized I had no more ammo, and all I had was FMJ for home defense, so I was in need of some JHP, told the range man to get me a box of Federal Hydra Shok, and he had a weird look on his face, but proceeded to grab it, and I said unless you have another opinion, and the next thing I know he puts Remington Golden Saber on the counter, in +P, and I thought he just didn't hear me right, but then realized, this was his other opinion, just in a silent way of telling me, but he asked what type of firearm, told him baby eagle .45, and he replaced it with the same thing, but non +P, $18 for 25, not too bad, so I bought it, Anyones opinion on good Hollow points? :-)

Sorry to post 3 in like 10 minutes, but just a quick question, is it bad to keep a magazine fully loaded for long periods of time? Are the springs going to lose tension? I keep my clip half loaded, just as a precationary, but if anyone has a few cents to "throw" in, please do ;-)

When your uses to a Colt 1911 it takes some getting uses to a Glock. 2/4 handle and and the worst trigger i ever used. But after a fair amount of practice I traveled to Georgia to a Glock match and had a bad day(no practice time) and shot 80th place... out of over 700 shooters. I like the Glock.

you can leave the magazines loaded for long periods of time without doing any damage to your springs. for hollow points, i personally like hornady XTP's.
