Looks like a Golden Mountie from the pictures.

What does it say on the barrel?

Nice rifle Hunter081. These rifles are so fun to take to the range. I picked up a 39A several months ago and produced in the 1950,s also. I finally took it to the ramge two weeks ago. Let us know how it shoots. Do you mind me asking how far it set you back.?

I looked in the book and it actually appears to be a "Golden 39A". Looks like you have a first year model. 1957-1987. The gold trigger is the giveaway.

The barrel markings on my 1964 model say "Golden 39A Mountie".
