Marlin 60 trigger

I was looking at my Marlin 60 today, and noticed that the trigger felt kind of weird. I should be able to tell, but it can't, if it's plastic or not. Can any of you Marlin owners/enthusiasts help me out on this one?

Thanks,

The trigger guards are plastic on both of mine but the trigger itself is metal or aluminum.

Mark me as one who is not impressed with the OEM Marlin trigger/guard combo...

That's why I got DIP trigger/guard combo's on all my/Wifey's Marlin Semi-auto rifles...
Marlin Rimfire Parts and Accessories

Yeah, itsa few bucks...but the benefits are Considerable
Look up my thread about 'em on here
