What would make the firing pin come out on a model 57 marlin? How would you reinstall the firing pin properly I can put it back in but it doesnt lock in at all.I just got this rifle it shot twice then the firing pin came out.I'm a little new with owning rifles but i'm sure this isn't normal.





Any replies would be helpful, Thank you.

Thank you, but I actually found out the problem, it wasn't the firing pin falling out, it was the tip of the firing pin broke so i have to replace the whole firing pin.

Wow Great thank you, this will help me a lot all i had before was bad drawn picture. This will make the process a lot easier. I'll let you know how it goes when I get my parts in
