| Super Moderator ![]() | Darn my trigger finger...
Welp, last winter in a freak clutz accident with an armrest I twisted my index finger something nasty. Well the primary pain went away, back then, but something has felt different about it since. Not sure if it's just age or weekly wear or what, but I've come to a sad conclusion after firing GunGeek's Marlin 1894 in 44 Rem Mag. It had a straight grip, and after emptying 10 shots from the gun, my index finger was screaming at me to stop. I havent noticed any inabilities to fire any other guns, but this levergun just wasn't my friend. So I'm thinking this means if I ever get a levergun I'm stuck with the curved grips. That's not too bad, because it always was my preference, as are Marlins. Seems like this is part of my character though, that I love semi-autos, aspire new things for pumps, lean towards bolt actions for hunting, have freakish ideas even for O/U shotguns, and aim to get a revolver by the summer's end, but leverguns just seem to be my achilles heel.

better get to the doc's the trigger finger is one of the most important you have -- I would go fo injuring any other one so I can make sure I can hit the trigger right.
