Question about a Glenfield Mod 20

I inherited a Glenfield Mod 20 rifle with a Glenfield 4X15 scope on it. I need to sell it and found this area on the internet that might help me get an answer. This is my first posting on this site so I am hoping I'm doing things the right way. Can someone tell me what an older model Glenfield Mod 20 which is in good shape would be selling for these days? Thanks

Not my field of expertise (I'm milsurp), besides, my books & shit are at the shop. I will tell you the book-value tomorrow. Off the top of my head I would say around $100, but that depends on what "good shape" means. I'll verify that in the morning and let you know.

The 23rd edition of the Blue Book of Gun Values (2002) lists the
"Model 20 - 1966-disc., Marlin Glenfield. Price Range $40 - $70"

Personally I would reccomend you keep it because they are fine-shooting little rifles... If the ammo-price doesn't break you

In very good condition, our local pawn/gunshop would price it at $125. If you sold it to them, you'd be lucky to get $40. Best bet might be to take it to a range, shoot some good groups with it, and see if someone might want it to give their kid for a first rifle.
