| Senior Member | Marlin Model 1893 I have a Marlin M1893 in 30-30 that was given to me from my grandfater. He said that it was rebarrelled on the 40's to 30-30, said it was a 32 special??? so the value is not real good, I had the gun checked out gunsmith said that is its in really good shape and is good to use. When I dessassembles the gun for some refinnishing I found that part of the stock is broken ( where it connects to the recever) and the screw that goes across the stock is stripped out. Where can I get a new stock and a new a screw?? I've looked and have had no luck. Will a newer 336 stock fit or any other newer Marlin stocks fit?? I'd really like to hunt with this rifle. Thanks. |
