Question Marlin 336 hammer question

Hi...I am looking for a hammer extension for a Marlin 336. It's not the Uncle Mike style or the bar style..one guy from cabelas said it is from the factory...but I'm unable to verify that. It's an inch 1/4 to an inch and 1/2 long and approx. 3/4 inches wide with a slight depression for your thumb.I lost it in the woods and I need a replacement ASAP...can't seem to find the same style. Can anyone help me out. Thanks

I've got one on my 336. I got it from Dick's Sportinh Goods. It extends to the right about an inch, inch and a half, and it pretty solid.

Thanks for the info. I have called Marlin and am waiting on a call back. I will try Dicks as well.
