| Info request/Shoot Longs? I am getting a Marlin 25 and wonder if it will shoot CB Longs? Any info appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

| Should be no problem in a single shot or bolt action, may not work in a semi. Accuracy may not be as good as long rifle ammo or may be good.

| i use .22 cb longs in my 10-22 they shoot about the same point of aim as long rifles out to about 30 yds. you have to manually work the action

| when i was a kid one of my friends used to shoot the short c.b.s out of his marlin 39-a my winchester 61 pump ate them with no problem too

| Any rifle chambered in .22lr will shoot longs. They may not feed through the magazine correctly, and may just generally be a pain in the butt in some semi-autos, but they will go bang (or pop) safely. |
