I saw this one and had to have it. I love the laminated wood stock. Got it home about an hour before dark to pop of a few rounds. It has a bit more punch than the 22LR's we have. It was a bit too dark out to really get a feel for how well it shoots, but there's always tomorrow. As I understand it, this was a limited run gun, and is no longer made. I see it is in the 2006 catalog, does anyone know what the last year the 982L's were made? Anyway, here's a pic of mine:
