h&r pardner choke

after shooting my new pardner i relized i might need a choke but... i dont know anything about them like how to install them, are they affective, and do they even make one for my gun any help would be great

Most of the Pardner shotguns are fixed choke, it will have FULL, MOD. or IC stamped on the side of the barrel. If not take it to your local gun shop and they can help you. If it is stamped and the barrel has been cut off you'll have to take it to a gunsmith to get it re-coked. I only seen 1 Pardner that had coke tubes and if memory serves me correct it takes mossberg choke tubes, it also had gold inlay, gold trigger, and a laminated stock.

it has a full choke is that as much as i can do it has a pritty wide spread

It depends on what your wanting to use it for, if it's for hunting you don't need to do anything, just adjust your shot size for what your hunting. If it,s for home defence buy some 00BUCK.

There are a very few models in the H&R - NEF line up of singleshot shotguns that have removeable chokes.

They are...H&R's The Deluxe Classic 12 & 20 ga....Topper Deluxe 12ga. These 2 only come with Modified Chokes, if one of these is the Shotgun you own then it came from the factory with a modified choke.

The next shotgun is a Pardner that is named "Pardner Screw in Ckoke" it come's in 12 or 20ga. and it comes form the factory with a Modified screw in choke only.

Lastly there's 2 Pardner Turkey Shotguns that are 10 and 12ga. these leave the factory with extra full ckokes.

You can order a good many of different constricion of Chokes from H&R-NEF by going to there web site.

Mossberg, Winchester and Browning Chokes can be used in the New Pardner Pump shotguns...A.H
