Sure! Doesn't everyone?

My wife's dad gave her his "old" Marlin 336 in 30/30...nice shooting rifle and an old reliable round.

I always have at least one Marlin 30-30 laying around. Keep finding cosmetically challenged Marlins, cleaning them up and reselling. Always keep my Glenfield/Marlin though. It is my favorite!

Well, it's not a 336, but an 1894; a .44 Magnum cowboy style assault rifle! My brother has a Marlin .30-30, and a friend just bought an older Glenfield .30-30 which he likes better than his .25-06!

I think it should be a requirement to own a levergun - it's just a cornerstone of a good collection.

Keep an eye out for a GOOD used one. They are out there. The one I bought I got from a friend that suddenly wanted a new pistol so I took it off his hands. I see them regularly for around $200, you just got to weed through the rough ones to find a gem.

Yeah only problem here is theres not alot of competition for sellers so they can pretty much name their price.

I love my Glenfield 30A 30-30. It is basically a 336 but, with a birch stock.

marlin also produced 336 contract guns for other businesses to put their name on.i have a revlation trade name on a 336 by western auto [remember them].no gold trigger, no checkering on the decently figured walnut stock.deals can be had on these trade name marlin's.i guess there's not much demand for a 30-30 in wyoming, arch.try auction arms;usually good deals on 336's in 30-30.i paid $235 for my last 336 in 35 remington out the door at the last gun show i went to.including an old bushnell scope [3x9];which promptly got taken off.replaced by a weaver 4x laying around.the see-through mounts also got yanked.

I have a 30-30, a 336 Texas SRC from 1972, they will have to break it off from my cold, dead hands ..

Also has a 1894SC, 357 Magnum, and a 1895, 45-70g.
Want a 336, 35 Remington ...
