The green shooter's ridge ones are to be avoided...
The Champion mags in Grey are working fine, I have three.
However, most of my semi-auto Marlins are escutcheon'd or pillar bedded...
for the purpose of making it easier to keep consistant stock/action torque...
So if someone has an issue with the grey-followers, its usually because something is mis-aligned...
That's the National Magazine one that I warn everyone off of...I've got two, they both required heavy mods to work...totally suck.
Still haven't got one of them sorted out as to function...mind you, I've got High Standard Mags that adjusted easier...
and we all know what a bizatchie those can be...

Other then completely disassembled receiver and polished for smooth action no mods the receiver and barrel are all original. and I actually still have the original stock and scope that came on it this is quite the little gun. and very accurate. I have been able to split a playing card in half at 50 yards with it several times.. hehe .. and I use empty .22 casings as targets.. have got it locked in up too 75 yard for the casings going to try 100 yards soon.. also have been able to hit a 12 inch diameter target at 326 yards....

They are great little guns. My Glenfield 60 (same thing but older) broke on me on my last trip out so I have to order one of the internal parts to get it back up and going but thankfully my Marlin 60 is as always ready to (going rabbit hunting in about an hour or so) so its going out with me today. I have yet to shot another ( 10/22 Remi 597 ect) fully original semi auto .22lr that is as accurate as the Model 60s. I bought my Glenfield to mod up but just havnt put the money into it as I havnt had enough time o shoot it and then it broke , so its on the back burner for now. I have some more important things I need to deal with (fix car, house you know big things ) before I can fix the Glenfield.

Ya the Glenfield is the if you want when your ready to fix her up let me know I have a line of most all the internals needed to repair.. and I have a G-Smith that will make what ever is not available. also .. the stocks for the Marlin will work too .. I have a custom Hand made stock that I was going to use if I find another Marlin/glenfield I am going to try and do some tricks with it .. but not sure how it will come out .. will keep you posted though if interested...
here is my 60. it has been a fun little project. It has a diproducts trigger and trigger guard, charging handle, picatinny scope mount, and kydex cheek piece. All the internals are polished and the last thing to add is the smith arms muzzle break when it finally comes out. And a spray paint camo job let me know what you guys think.

WOW did you actually drill the receiver to mount that rail?.. (bummer) as for the Smith Arms Muzzle break .. lots of luck they have been saying they were going to get that one done for a while.. let me know if you want one sooner as you can see on mine I have modded one that works great.. and can make them easly... and effectively... nice work though.. look into the FireArms scopes if you are looking for a nice in-expensive one that is accurate... Keep us posted

Any thoughts?
Thanks
you can use the 4" Remington Picatiny rails they are about 4 bucks EACH and before installing the stock drill the holes to match the rail.. find to small bolts and put nuts on the inside to hold it secure to the bottom you can also do the same on the sides and the top portion of the stock if you have any more questions or need more details feel free to e-mail me direct and I can send you some photos and specs..
