I need to know how hard it is to take a new 795 and put it in the bullpup stock, and what all I need to buy.
Thanks!
Just the Model 70 one...they've not changed the designation yet.

Nobody makes a longer LSHO lever...yet. It would be nice, but it's not a neccesity for the application.

How hard? Not very. In fact, it's pretty darn straightforward.
Just follow the instructions

Stain was about $10 at Home Despot, the gal used a nifty trick to get pink as a color, she put the color sample in as a paint mix, and scanned a paint can to make it happen, but put the stain can underneath the squirty nozzles After a good shaking, we had our needed pink for the wifey's stock

I am starting to wonder how a different color laminate stock would have handled the pink stain...

Hey I had a question, I am in the middle3 of sanding my stock down as I type this (well I stopped to type this ) and it is way way lighter then I expected. And I looked this back up about what you did to your wifes stock and got to thinking I really like the way this stock looks, the grey color.

I was just thinking, if I took a some clear stain and have them add the gray color to the mix if I could get my stock to come out similer to this. What do you think?

You could go that route

There actually should be some grey colored stain out there somewhere...

I hate to use Minwax on Anything, but they do have more colors available...bastards.
Worst stain on earth, IMHO, but color-options are huge.

Anyone ever try analine dyes? they are water based, so they need to be sealed afterwards.

I've got one of those. I do not really care for it. The top is held on by an elastic or rubber piece, and if you lift and turn the top with the unit upside down everything falls out if you are not careful.

Lightbulb Elftmann Tactical

Ok, these guys have just designed a SECOND bullpup stock for Marlin 60/795's!!

The first, of course is the bullpupstocks.com one...

Elftmann Gun Products

Kinda reminds me of an updated version of the old High Standard M-10A & 10B shotgun

I just went back and reread from the beginning for the 3rd time !! Thank you Big Shrek for continuing this all important thread for guys like me that own a Model 60 !! While I do not wish to change the config of my M60 to a tactical Hellfire system, I do appreciate your ongoing offerings as to what is available !! You are to be commended for your efforts, and I forwarded an email to Marlin discussing such !! I offered that once before and did not receive a reply. I did receive a reply this time. So we shall see if they contact you !! All my best dude !!

Thanks SwedeSteve

Well, here's the BEST news I've posted on here in awhile...

BETTER THAN SEX!!!
Ok, almost.......y'all know how long we've been waiting for these...

Shooter's Ridge has FINALLY made the 25-round magazine for the 795 & 70!!

Also reportedly fits the old 70-series, 995, & the rest of the 70-lookalikes!!

The word from Shooter's Ridge...
"The #40426 magazine is brand new and is still in production. None have
shipped yet and I anticipate they should be to the dealers in mid May
2011. We do not have speed loader for these models yet.

Have a nice day,
Dale Radcliffe
ATK Technical Services"

If your favorite local gun shop ain't a Dealer, they can contact SR and become one really easily
When you point out it'll be the easiest to get 'em more 795 sales...they should be smart enuff to join up

Ahhh!!! I was extremely excited for the new mags and ordered two as soon as the company got them in. Unfortunately, they jam after a single shot! The first chambers fine, but during the action it doesn't seem to feed the successive round properly, ramming the round into the edge of the barrel and sticking the action, or it doesn't grab a round at all. I have yet to get a single successful semi-automatic batch of fire.

Has anyone else had this problem, and what's the deal? I can't imagine Shooters Ridge put out a completely useless mag, and I so desperately want a usable 25 rounder.

I'm still waiting on one to show up at my local dealer...but the guys at Rimfire Central are working on a fix.

It seems that the weight of the bullets tips the mag forwards just enough to be an issue...
so a few guys used a little rubber tape inside the magwell to push it backwards ever so slightly to make it work.

I'll try to get pics of their work on here...

You'll need a 795 trigger guard...DIP makes a great one with bells & whistles

Also need some sort of plug for the fore-end of the stock where the mag tube goes...or not, some leave it for cooling.
