Have you tried searching for one here yet? Guns - Online Gun Auction - Guns at GunBroker.com Or any of the other gun auction sites?

Sir Marlin's quality has never changed. Matter of fact it's probable the best overall quality built rifle in the world. I've never seen one worn out...A.H

While it seems that marlin's quality has declined slightly, out of all the new marlins I've bought recently all have worked perfect and are mechanically sound a very accurate. Just call around and look for an 1894 in 44 mag, go to the store, and hold a new one and see what you think. Marlin has been getting their game back on here lately, so I would start expecting some pretty good things to come from them.

The addition of all those extra safety thingy's is the only thing I don't like about new Marlin .44's. There was a time when a man was expected to just Be Careful with his guns & use common sense...nowadays they're lawyered silly because dangfool liberals ain't got sense enough to figure out HOW to properly use a tool. What's the chances we can have an Open Season on Liberals after Obama gets voted out??

I have the 1894 in .44 magnum. The only problem is when I FAIL to shoot straight. Get yourself one Lil bro. You will not regret it. I have the following; Savage .270wsm with accutrigger, Remington 700 .243, H&R 45-70, Remington 760 Pump 30-06, SKS Yugo, H&R 999 Sportsman .22, Springfield Amory 1911 milspec .45acp, Berretta 390 12 gauge, Henry .22 pump, Makarov .380, CZ 52, Charter Arms .44 special Bulldog Pup, About to arrive blue .44 mag Redhawk 5 1/2" barrel to go with my Marlin. I know I forgot something. Anyhow, that little Marlin is the "funnest" one to shoot and, when I shoot these Russian boars, the first thing to hit the ground is their chin! |
