I WOULD PULL THE BARRELED ACTION OUT OF THE STOCK(dang cap lock) , remove the bolt run, wet a bore brush with Hoppes#9 run it through a dozen times followed with dry patches. put a little oil on a rag and wipe all the metal parts very lightly, reassemble. tah-dah!!! ya cleaned it. |

I dont know if its degreased or not, but the metal parts are really oily, so i think it isnt. Do I have to take it apart and clean all the parts after I shoot it? Or just the barrel? |

| Hmmmmm,
in that case get some mineral spirits, some stiff brushes, and a large coffee can. strip down the rifle scrub the metal up good with the spirits and brushes spray with brake cleaner. dampen a rag in the spirits and wipe the excess off of the wood. light oil and reassemble.

wife stripped and cleaned or just oiled down for the next time...The more care you put in the better response you get out...

Remember everytime you shoot corrosive milsurp ammo, use a good ammonia cleaner to get the primer salts out. Even Windex Ammonia-D will work in a pinch. Swab it out good, then use your Hoppes or other good standard bore cleaner.
