Check these brand new ones out!

Check these brand new, but 50 year old K98 rifles out. I was in New Albany Shooting Range and I saw a poster for them in the bathrooms, so I went to check them out and I was very impressed. You get the mint condition rifle and loads of accessories with it such as sling, bayonet, pouches, cleaning kit etc. Incase you're wondering how the rifle's in mint condition, I'll quote off the poster 'An accident of history has preserved these rifles for over 50 years' So you get it in original unissued condition. I'm definately saving up my pennys! The cal is 8mm Mauser I think. I can't remember if the price was $200 or $300, I'll check next time I'm there and let you know.

That's the one! But actually seeing it in person makes it very tempting!

I bet! If I seen one in person, I'd probably get it...low willpower and what not!

These are actually Yugoslavian M-48 Mausers they are not the model 98 K98 used by the Germans during WWII. These are good rifles, a year ago or so they were a little easier to find but I think you could still find one for a better price then what Mitchells advertised. I got mine for about $150.00 with the accessories that you described.

Check out SOG in Shotgun News. They have K98s for less than $200. i guess the quality ones are getting scarce. These are, I believe, only in "good" condition.
