Hunting With the Gew88 Non-Mauser?
Hello,
I'm wondering if any of the owners here of the Gewehr 88 Commission rifle still hunt with it, and if so, what do you hunt?
My handloads are used on coyote. They exceed the SKS but at pressures the rifle handles just fine.
(This really belongs in a Mannlicher forum, but I don't see one dedicated to that rifle or just general German rifles).
Regards,
Josh

Don't see why it wouldn't work on deer. Load a good cast bullet with a wide meplat down to 32 special levels and pop all the deer your eyes can see. :P
