just read a story.....

had a story in one of my old magazines about the swedes. it stated that when the 6.5x55 cartridge first came out that it was very popular with men on safari. it seems they liked it for hunting elephant! yes...ELEPHANT!! they chose it because of the rounds excelance in penetration! amazed me!

yep!!! 6.5 worked because of the long bullet, plus the pro's new just where to shoot on the skull for a brain shot. but i bet they had the big guns ready for back up!!!
