Has anyone come across any info on Turkish proofs, etc., other than the regular K.Kale reciever markings? Thanks, Allan |

Greyrifle, I'm sorta surprised that no on has responded to this post. I thought there used to be some smart folks around who might know these things. My Turks are Kirakales, and the receiver markings are about the only thing that I know anything about. I am well pleased with them, so I reckon I'm ignorant, but happy! Good luck with your Turk. |

My only Turk is an old '03 model that's been bubbaized. Shoots good, but looks mighty odd with that 29" barrel sticking out from a severely cutdown fore end - a real "Long Tom"! Wish I'd gotten a couple M38 Kirikales when they were so common here. Used to see 'em by the tables full.

You making fun of my posts, PapaG? Is that why my wife says I'm dumb as a post? Seems like I remember a couple of years ago that someone had some Turk marking research, but I just can't remember where it was or what it was. I forgot everything but the receiver markings. So, I'm still lacking posts.... To me the Turk M1938 is just like that fine, young Swedish gal that you just met in a bar on the coast of Spain (Costa del Sol....or something like that).....don't know her name, can't understand her markings or words, her clothes don't match, and her toes are dirty; however, she's a sight to behold, sharp as a tac, a pleasure to be around, and she just plain smells right. What was the topic of this post again? |

just making an observation, not funning any one besides your exploits in Spain sounds more interesting |
