| well testing is so far limited , but at 70 yards she puts all 3 touching. take into account that ive only got about 20 rnds through her since the rebuild. basically the barrel's been free floated (yes even with the barrel bands and handguard). its a new surplus swede barrel, and a 3-9 leupold vxII scope, and a timney trigger. as far as im concerned she's absolutely beutiful, and i would have never messed with her but the original barrel was pretty well rotted out. |

| Administrator ![]() | Real nice! What did the bore grade on the disk read before you did the work? I have one that reads #3 and is begging for custom work. An outstanding rifle that is extremely accurate and fires a great performing (and underrated) round. By the way, who did the work?

| Well, Lefty, considering the barrel was shot I don't blame ya for the rebuild. Then, again, I wouldn't have faulted ya if you did it to even a pristene. It's your gun, regardless, and you should feel free to keep it as it was or to do just what you did. When it comes to my 1903A3s and my Swedes, yes, I'm a purist but I would never condemn anyone for 'cutomizing' what they wanted. You've got the basis of an outstanding weapon with the Swede and you took it to a whole new level...congrats!
