Another Swede

Couldnt turn this one down at $219. It was on consignment at my favorite store.

It has a 6.50 #1 bore disc and the rare rear target sight.
The stock is walnut but has had one repair that looks like it was done many many years ago.

Its an 1899 Oberndorf that is in good shape considering its 105 years old. Cant get it till Thursday though

See if it can match the 1919 Gustav.

Brought it home today!
After a close examination I am very impressed with its condition. Of course there are a few minor dings on the stock but all the metal is fantastic. It has some cosmoline on it and looks like maybe it was stored for years.
The bore is awesome. Shiny as can be. The bolt and bolt face look like new. Almost no wear marks anywhere else either. No buggered up screw heads either.
Its got all matching numbers and has two Crown cartouches on the wrist. Cant wait to clean it up and shoot it.
I had thought about refinishing the stock but after I looked at it, I changed my mind. I'll just clean it and leave it as is. After 105 years, it deserves some dings!

This is only the second. Got the Carl Gustav and the Oberndorf so it makes sense to look for the Husqvarna next. At least it makes sense to me anyway.
