Advanced Technology Stock Mauser 98 Standard Barrel Channel Built-In Scope Mount Nylon Black

Keep seeing adds for this "Uglyer than a Hi-Point Carbine" mauser stock....cost around $70 bucks....with the scope mount built into the design... I know you all have seen them (but I've attached a pic of them)....anyone try one of these??? Know anything about them??? Good/bad???? Thanks all.

i have thoughts of putting one on a 48 and bobing the bbl to 18" and putting a comp on it. might make a good brush gun.

just when you think they have uglified everything, some one comes along with the epitome of ugly.

I'm with PapaG. I like the wood.
I've seen those advertised but I could never bring myself to uglying up a Mauser like that!

I've seen a couple of them DL, they're not "all that", go for a nice Boyds lamintate or something comparable. There's a freshly finished Mausy on the counter at the shop with a black and grey laminate Boyds and fat barrel chambered in 22-250 that's just plain sweet! The one main thing about the AT stock is that it seems like it would be between a pain to impossible to fit a fat barrel in that stock. The built in upper mount rail doesn't seem too stable either? AT's shotgun stuff is pretty good but the Mausy Star Wars Sniper stock is kindda gimmicky!?

No worries...not in my plans...just kept seeign these advertised and ?????? part of me said they are so ugly they must work great......but never seen anyone withone on a mauser.
