Thumbs up

My FR8 does very well with the widely available Remington/UMC 150 grain soft-point loads. The 180-grain gives too much recoil, but the 150's are easily managable. This rifle likes the South African 7.62X51 also.
The FR8 was built from the M43 Spanish Mauser (originally 7.92X57) and can take the .308 pressures. The FR7 based on the M1916 is a different matter.
