I need to know what screw is the one that does not look like the one like the one on the rear site, the wierd shaped head ones, are they the locking screw or not. I was also wondering what the other screws are called as well because i don't have the regular looking screws, like the one on the rear sight. I have the ones that are like a circle with the cuts in them on the head of the screw but i need the other ones. Is it safe to shoot the gun without these. Where can i buy another pair of these? Thanks for all your help.

I didn't follow your post. rear sight screw ? trigger guard screws ? The trigger guard screws on most mausers are interlocking (& most have one in the pair missing). I think you can get them from numrich's (e-gunparts.com).

but if one of the 2 main trigger guard screws that hold the trigger guard/magazine assembly, and the stock to the receiver. then "DO NOT FIRE" until a suitable replacement is found. using 1 screw will promote stock splittage. | |
