Yugoslavian M48 sling

Please help.
K98's, and the first "scrubbed" Yugoslavian mausers had the classic k98 sling with a sling stop buckle.
The newer Yugo M48's that we are getting now only have a strip of leather with two buttons. How do these newer M48 slings attach? Do you just feed one end through the stock hole and fold it over on itself and button it? Is there a website about it anywhere?
Any help is greatly appreciated
