| Haitian Mauser
Hello, I am wondering if anyone has information on a Mauser I bought recently? It is a Haitian Mauser in 30/06.

I will get some pictures on. I don't think it was made by Haiti, but was made for them. I will also add what it say on the receiver. All I can remember at the moment is it does say Haiti.

The 'FN 24' was a very popular 'contract Mauser' sold to many nations. A basic intermediate-length action, 23 or 24 inch barrel, good reputation. The Dominican Republic (sharing Haiti's island) also had their own marked Mausers, including a very neat little carbine.
