This stock tool is used in step 12, instead of the "block of wood" - it's always better to use the proper tool! Collecting and Shooting the Mauser Rifle - Bolt Disassembly and Reassembly This applies to all Mauser M98 rifles and variants, though only a few models have this tool in the stock.

| Senior Member | Bubble Wrap Looks Ottoman Empire bubble wrap. Does the history of the rifle possibly include tightly wrapping it in that "dented" style of real oily bubble wrap or then subjecting it to a New Orleans flood, to make the stain? |
