|  my m24/47 yugo 8mm cleaning rod question My Yugo has a cleaning rod that does not completly go down the muzzle's langth. It seams to only go about half way' yet in diagrams that show the rifle apart show the rod much longer, do i have the rong rod? |

| Same with my M48A and M24/47. They are not long as the bore. |

|  The rods were used in Garrison, with an additional handle/extension piece. In the field, the troops used the pocket kit with string or chain for the bore pull-thru. Mosins are the same way - the cleaning kit has the handle/extension for the too-short rod.
