Re-barrel a M-98-Large-Small Ring?

I am looking at rebarreling an M-98 to .308. Any advice on gunsmiths and expected costs. I would also like to rebarrel a Weatherby Vanguard from current .243 to .308. All help appreciated. Sgt. Mike

Sarge
Midway USA carries Adams and Bennett barrels for about $70.
or
Numrich Gun Parts has a New Norwegien Barrel in 308 for $129.

For you Turk Small ring Mausers types, try Ebay and find a "Small Ring" Belgium 30-06 commercial barrel reworked and rechambered to .308 for about $70.
or
Buy the same barrel from Numrich Gun Parts and have your smith cut and rechamber to 308. The barrel cost $28.00
Warning+Warning::::This barrel is not threaded for Turk small ring receiver.

Next your trigger guard will need a spacer for the shorter rounds. I bought 2 from CenterFire Systems, but that was about 9 months ago.

I just picked up my Turk mauser project from my smith and now working to fit the stock to it.
