Well guys, I went to Big5 to pick up a new M-38 M\N and walked out with a non-matching 24\47 instead. Metal finish is gorgeous, crest intact, and bore looks good. Unfortunately, the stock is split along one side but is repairable. As many mil-surps as I've gone thru over the years, this one has the worst case of cosmosis I've ever seen. When I ran the first patch thru the bore, I pushed out about 2 oz. all over my cleaning mat. Oh well, that's part of the fun.

hey at least you can use the gun later on, I'm here in England without any of my firearms. Of course on one over here owns a firearm except the British military.

Nice addition to your collection for sure! Good to see MM is "safe" in England
