Mauser 1914/1934

just got a nice looking 1914 7.65 mm but keep getting stovepipes even after using brand new clip. other than that the pistol works fine with one round only on either clip. problems start when you have two or more rounds in the clip. the second round does not goes into the barrel but ends at 45 deg against the inlet top portion of the barrel. the ramp looks fine and in line with the barrel. being one of the clips brand new, seems that changing the clip springs will not help. any advice will be appreciated

Hav a experience 'Smith check the extractor/ejector. If they look OK, replace your magazines. (Yes, even the new one can be bad.)

If you don't have any dummy rounds to test with then Carefully using live ammo chamber slowly by hand watching how the rounds exit the magazine and enter the chamber, It could be that the lips of the magazine are spreading, and not keeping the round horizontal as it exits the mag and enters the chamber, I find this happens a lot with cheap mags. sometimes the lips have to be bent in a little to allow proper feeding.
Hope this helps.

as the extractor/ejector seems to look and definitely works A-OK, took the gun and a set of long nose pliers to the range. bent inwards the lips just a tad at a time. after the third try the gun fired the full magazine without a hitch. proceeded to do the same with the other mag with same results. even if the problem is solved will keep looking for an original Mauser mag. in fact, there is one up for bids in eBay. appreciate very much the help from both of you.
