C-96 mauser

I'm a reloader. Article in Shotgun News Volume 61 Issue 9 had article about 7.62X25 stated difference between that and 7.63X25 stating that 7.63X25 brass can be found at Starline.com. Went there and they advertised 30 Mauser. I bought some 30 mauser ammo one time and got home and no way I could use it in my broomhandle. Can someone out there clear up my confusion. Does anyone know where to find 7.63X25 brass? Cheers

All the ammo I ever shot through my 1930 Commercial Broomhandle was old commercial Remington, labeled ".30 Mauser."

Also shot some old Soviet surplus crap through it, but wasn't happy with it.

Gotcha. I show original round for broomy to be 7.62X25 (automatic mauser) then also Borchardt 7.65X23 mm luger. Article said shooting tok ammo (7.62X25) tears off casing neck. I more than familiar with 9mm bolos. Did they make 3 calibers for this great weapon? Cheers
