In Mich. the law states you cannot fire a firearm within 450' of an occupied dwelling or 150ft from the road, "BUT"when recreational shooting the law does not apply. You must be firing into an adequate backstop and you cannot fire a firearm before or after legal hunting hours.I dont know of any village or city that allows shooting of any kind including BB guns. sam.

It seems i wont get in trouble.

My nephew and I were shooting .22's in the back yard, and someone called the cops.

He told me, i could shoot all i want, as long as i had a good back stop.
Then he said, and i quote "If they call again, ill tell them where they can stick it"
