Spanish Mauser (Falange)

Hey everyone, neat forum you have here, been reading for hours. Anyway, I pulled this Spanish Mauser out of storage and want to get it cleaned up and put some rounds downrange. Underside of barrel has "CVIEDO SPAIN M1910"
Imported by Samco it was tagged as chambered for .308,
Here's my question; I found the crest in a proof mark book and it said "Falange (Facist) 1943" and nothing more. Is anyone aware of an online resource for finding more information on this proof history?

AT,
Cant help with history but the stamp "CVIEDO SPAIN M1910" should actually be read OVIEDO SPAIN M1910. Hope this helps your search.

After I posted I found this link in another forum, has quite a bit about the history of Spanish Mausers...

I did a Google search and quickly came up with Mauser Guns - Gun Collecting. That looks like a good site, but there were pages of Mauser sites. Do a search, and go to a site dedicated to Mausers. They will have Q&A forums. You may need a good description or photos.
