Odd import mark on a 24/47

I recently got a 24/47 thats in pretty good shape. The thing is, of the left side of the chamber it says M24/47 3ABC(?)D(?) 44 All the numbers on the action match and the butstock matches as well but the small metal parts on the stock are struck out and re-numbered to match. The odd thing is that the import mark says INTRAC KNOX TN 8MM CZECH REP. Any idea what the czech rep means, I thought all of these were Yugo's if this is a stupid question, please forgive me, this is my first mauser. Thanks!!!

3ABC(?)D(?) 44 is actually 3ABOU 44.
That marking is Cyrillic for "ZAVOD" 44 which is the factory code for kragujevac. That is where the rifle was refurbed. After September 1947 they started using this instead - Produszche 44.

No I am not that smart about mausers, I stole this info from parralaxbills website. I to have just purchased a 24/47.

Thanks for the clarification on the stamping. My main question though is why does it appear to have been imported from the czech republic? Aren't these supposed to be yugoslavian?

CZ 24(VZ 24) Mausers are From Czechoslovakia...BRNO mfg.,However, the Yugoslavians adopted this rifle and some were made under license in Kragujevac in Yugoslavia, and a lot were purchased
from the Czechs...They are the same rifle. A mfg. Stamp should be on the receiver somewhere as to country of Origin.
