What is a 24/47?

I was looking at CenterfireSystems.com and saw one for $99. Says the numbers don't match, but then they have an "excellent" model that says about the same thing. How does this compare to my Mosin M44? Are they worth having? Is the problem with bad head space more of a normal thing with them (found that in a thread for a K98). You know I'm into old rifles that don't cost a whole lot. Thanks for the help.

Thanks, Mooseman, are they as fun to shoot and as accurate as my Mosin M44? Thanks. Merry Christmas.

Sure are...Mausers are always fun to shoot...8mm ammo is comparable to 30/06 and 7.62X54R...

I love mine! The only complaint I have is the miniscule sights, getting old sux! The 8x57 is one of my favorite rounds and reloading components are a tad easier to find than the '54R. Get one and enjoy!
