Can anyone help me?

I have searched the net and cant find this model. The markings read:"Fabrica De Armas""Oviedo""1920. Only other mark is what I think is an importer mark "2F589". I have no idea of the model and caliber. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Looks like a 7X57 Mauser 1893 built in 1920...
Any Gunsmith could tell you fast...

A simple barrel test is a #2 pencil eraser in the end of the barrel, if it will drop in, it is larger than 7mm...

There is a Spanish town in northern Spain called Oviedo. As "Fabrica De Armas" equals "gun factory" or "Arsenal," is it possible this rifle's action was made in Spain and perhaps sporterized later?

Do the barrel test...let me know. if the eraser sticks in the end of the barrel, it should be 7mm...
Anytime,

Pencil eraser

It will fit but without much room to spare. Should it drop a the way through or is the fact that it fit at all enough? As far as being sporterized at a later point I have no idea. Guess I will have to take it to a ginsmith.

7mm Barrel,it should touch the sides or stick...30 cal or 8mm, it should not touch the sides, plenty of clearance to wiggle side to side...
