| I can't help much, but here is what I have. Voere Voehrenbach is/was a company in Germany that made sporting rifles. I can't find any reference to their making pistols, however. Also, the fact your piece is a bolt action pistol raises all kinds of flags in my head. There have been very few bolt action pistols made anywhere; the only one that comes readily to mind is the XP-100 Remington hunting pistol made for large-caliber hunting rounds. I have the suspicion someone cut down a damaged rifle and reworked it as a pistol. It's possible I'm wrong. Perhaps this weapon was designed as a pistol from the git-go, but the shape of the handgrip and the fact the wood extends a goodly way up the barrel lead me to believe I'm not. Do you have any more pictures of the pistol, particularly of the muzzle, front sight, right side and the back of the pistol grip? |

| Senior Member | Voere ,Voelter & Company Vaehrenbach,Germany Perhaps it is a Model 2107 Bolt-Action Repeater, Hooded Sights and looks like by the pictures Adjustable rear sights. I would guess it probably was modified from its origin, the rifle. Cyrano hit the nail on the head damaged rifle converted to a pistol. Its the trigger size and color that got me stumped. If it is infact that rifle, good condition of the rifle @ $154.00. but not worth very much in this state and condition as a pistol. Last edited by Earl Easter; 01-18-2008 at 09:04 AM. | Senior Member ![]() | I hate to bust your bubble but that is a Voere Rifle that somebody cut down and made a pistol out of...Voere never manufactured pistols. They may have damaged the barrel at some time and so it was cut down and salvaged, or it was somebody's project... That grip would never have been shaped like that on a German Crafted pistol...it is a cut down rifle stock. I have a Carbine stock that looks just like it that was cut down from a rifle stock. Rich
